Dance or Die Style Event

Come try your shot at winning $250 CASH in this dance competition and raise money for the Giving Plate! 

This competition is like nothing you have ever seen before. Participants will use their stamina to try to be the last one standing and win our first place prize.

2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded as well as “best dressed on theme”, “most style” and “most encouraging”.

THEME: Neon Cowboy

Rules:

1. Once the competition begins, you must stay on the dance floor and dance the ENTIRE time. If you leave the dance floor you are out.

2. When we say dance the entire time, we mean it. If you stop dancing (even as a song begins, even for one second) you are out.

3. You may country swing if you don’t know a line dance. 
There will also be two alternative line dances for those who don’t want to country swing: Copperhead Road “the fast version” or Payaso De Rodeo (these will be up on our IG before the event and we will show them at the event at 5pm sharp).

 4. If you inhibit anyone else from dancing you will be promptly disqualified. If you are swing dancing and you run your partner into someone, you will be disqualified. 

5. If you are partner dancing and your partner taps out mid-dance you must keep dancing and join the line dance or you will be disqualified.

6. This is a western theme event, and you must be wearing boots to attend! 

7. If you argue with the "refs/judges" you will be escorted out and will not be able to attend a future event with Dance 'Til You Drop. Remember this is a fun event to raise money for charity!

2nd Event: November 7, 2025 6-8:30pm 999 NE 2nd St., Bend, OR 97701 Win up to $300.

F.A.Q. 
1. Do I have to be 21?
No this is 18+ event!!

2. What if I don’t know the line dance on?
You can either a. Country swing with someone or b. Do the line dances listed above to tempo. 

3. Do I have to wear boots? Yes.

Dancing, but make it for a good cause…

I was in prayer asking God for ideas on how to make money, community and do something good with my time. That’s where the idea for Dance ‘Til You Drop came from. The first event is a “Dance or Die” style event competition, others to come with be pop up workshops, fun/goofy style competitions and even singles and marriage events.
